Cavitation Jet Underwater Cleaning Equipment

Cavitation-Jet-Underwater-Cleaning-Gun
By altering external conditions such as water pressure and flow rate, a localized low pressure is created when the water passes through the nozzle. This causes the water to vaporize and explode, generating a large number of microbubbles. These unstable microbubbles quickly collapse, releasing high pressure and temperature, while the surrounding water is rapidly compressed inward, forming high-speed “jets.” This process can be used for cleaning underwater building biofouling.

Product Advantages

Widely Applicable

Compared to traditional hull scrubbers: Using cavitation jet technology for underwater cleaning replaces the traditional method of mechanical cleaning with rotating brushes made of hard metal or composite materials. This completely overcomes the shortcomings of traditional methods, such as damaging the protective coating on surfaces during cleaning, short service life, and the inability to clean many special parts (e.g., sea valves, shafts, grates).

Easy to Carry

Compared to high-pressure water jet cleaning: High-pressure water jet cleaning equipment weighs several tons, making transportation extremely inconvenient. When cleaning platforms, the pressure must exceed 1000 kg, posing a significant threat to the life safety of divers. Additionally, the water is turbid, causing poor visibility during underwater operations, which increases the risk of injury to divers. In contrast, cavitation products operate at a pressure of 120-150 kg, and the spray emitted from the nozzle is in the form of gas, causing no harm to divers. Moreover, the shore-based equipment weighs only about 150 kg, making it easy to transport.

Environmentally Friendly

The cavitation jet technology for underwater cleaning uses only water to create cavitation, drawing seawater directly for cleaning when operating on platforms or ships, with no impact on the environment. The product is very lightweight, significantly reducing the workload for divers.
